Great post Bendigo, I will give it a thumbs up after this post. You show great insight into trading and importantly the psychology. AS A HOBBY TRADER these days the psychology is easier for me. I trade perhaps TA:FA 60:40. I agree that on TA it is fine to KISS. I assume that you have read my posts (rot). I do find that on some of the forums on HC can be over the top. But that is fine for them if that is what floats their boat, to quote you.
The last few comments really connect with me. Things like "you do not have to be in a trade" and "be patient".
"Trading in the zone" by Douglas is a must read for a trader. It has been mentioned before. It is not about TA as such but the psychology.
