Thank you all for your input made picked up some interesting points. As with Kacy having an eye for it is important eg watching for volume changes and key turning points. Finding the potentials can be the hard labour.

Chalea I cant believe i have had the stock scanner on my machine for so long and never tried it. Refering to incredible charts, i have only used it once in the blue moon for checking the charts. I bet many of us have tools that have not really been checked out properly

I would like to point out that I believe www.spacejock.com.au has a very cheap solution for charts as is free and i think the professional package has screening options. I paid for the pro pack some time back but when changed computers just could not be bothered re organising as mainly only use the charts anyway.
