I have been using Ezy Analyzer for some time now and find it very useful for my approach to the Market. It's quite easy to set criteria and scan groups of stocks. This program has built in routines to scan the major candlestick formations as well as many other technical indicators. One of my faves is the on balance volume (OBV).
It's a great way to weed out all but the most interesting stocks and then, as a previous poster has discussed, you can throw them up on your screen, do your own TA, go read the latest quarterly or whatever and make up your mind about the company.
