i read this a while ago on this or another forum, cant quite remember, "you never make a mistake when you take a profit".
the problem i had in the past was looking back at stocks i held only to see them rise higher within weeks or months.
being a chart and vol follower my theory now is to only look back as a learning experience and apply those theories/ideas/luck to future stocks.
just a thought.
