Because short term trading is interesting and exciting. It takes a great deal of self control not to get lost in it. A good way to vent some of that is to talk to others about it whilst your trade is trading.
Posting on forums such as this offer that opportunity to vent instead of being silly and buying/selling something you shouldn't because it was exciting.
That is mostly the reason, I think, that many short term posters post about what they think will happen. They are not tying to manipulate peoples minds in some kind of conspiracy against you.
