There is much to know or more in electricity ac/dc maybe more than that we kNOW.
I love Engineering as undergrad degree was in that faculty.
Series and single cells have their goods and bads, and best in their best.
The next good trailblazing would not be (maybe) batteries, but in generation of electricity from the vehicle to the battery.
I have not seen any plans from the wheels and drive train but the moving parts are opportunity for regeneration.
If the battery is regenerated there is less stress in recharging.
Any way blah blah just as rocket travel needs next generation which is a design influencing in front of the nose...
