This is the explanation about the power train for each of cheapest EV’s being summarized:
Powertrain: permanent-magnet synchronous AC; 201 hp, 290 lb-ft; 64.0-kWh lithium-ion battery pack
Different AC and lithium specs but all ‘permanent-magnet synchronous so it probably behooves them to support that statement. Maybe they will expand to XYZ permanent -magnet synchronous AC ethically sourced by Lynas. Brand it just like AC Delco Spark Plugs and make it the industry standard. This could be in addition to all the other good news in the works!
