one last point where did you see they went up 9%????
On Friday they were down 4 % Announcement was after close and it will happen on the 27. They did go up 6% in after hours trading. The real measure is what are they at 2 or 3 weeks from now and I doubt it will last.
I do thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have deep in the money DEC MP Puts. Because they are deep the spread between bid and ask is 30 cents even though open interest is high. The Q release and conference call is fist week in AUGUST. This may be a turning point for MP. They have been very open about how construction is going told us about slip for oxide production in Q1 2022 and how they added a second shift and thought they were back on schedule in Q2. If they are back on schedule to start pilot run in Jan then stock may soar if they are 2 to 6 months late stock keeps falling. I think Monday AM I set up straddle by buying AUG 19 $30 calls for $1.60. If stock stays flat I lose 1.60 cheep insurance. If it goes down I do fine, If it goes up I make a little. It is that or sell the puts at market open. Wait 2 to 3 weeks for things to settle down and then decide what to do.
