Very true but REE prices are dropping. In two days we will know if MP is on track to start Making oxides by end of year. A year after that, if they stay on schedule (a big if) they will Be about the Lynas Next volume. again if they stay on schedule by end of 2023 they will have started their Texas Metal and magnet project that is a result of GM partnership.
As I said above people on this board think REE is the only political weapon. In fact it is low on the list. China has tremendous money in REE. They saw just over a decade ago how using it as a weapon caused severe market disruption that hurt them more than anyone else. Look how many times in last years food has become a weapon. Think of the impact of Ukraine conflict. PMM still use fare more coper than PMS by weight. Right now it is all bluff like China's ware ships circling While Nancy is there. Trouble is one miscalculation, and we could be at war very soon.
