Because rare earths can be supplied as oxides, chlorides, carbonates etc, it is good to specify the form at the same time as the quantity or price. There are also different prices for REE oxides chlorides carbonates etc and not just because of the different metal content. Same situation exists with lithium.
REE (also Li) could be supplied as metals but that is much tougher due to their reactivity.
