totally get that it all ends up as AUD. Fail to see why you think this helps. Ie dirt comes out of mine a little is spent in AUD to make concentrate. Then a lot of MYR to make oxide then it is sold in Japan whose currency is more depressed than AUD. I readily admit without knowledge of contract wording it is impossible to know net effect but you seem to be sure it helps. So could you elaborate with details why you say. start with what happens to profits before conversion. Especially since AUD is way up against JPY and I gave you that chart in my first post.
The profits are converted back to AUD which gives them a boost as they are reported that way.
