The CNY and YEN have started (a concerted) appreciation against the US dollar over the last week (since Yellen’s visit to the Middle Kingdom) and this trend will continue to play out over coming weeks in favour of commodities. This is already apparent in USD GOLD and will start to lift Lithium and REs.
As the CNY stabilises, Chinese authorities will be able to stimulate their economy and so too the world’s.
