The US Dollar is about to becone our best friend, or worst enemy.
Gold and other metals/materials are all rising as the dollar depreciates in value. I think J. Yellon is leading this. The USA does not want China to stimulate and potentially set off a new round of world inflation. Especially with an election in 17 months from now.
i also think it is coordinated between China and the USA, to help thawing tensions between the two counties.
The stronger yuan is allowing China to reinvigorate its economy by cheaper import (imput) costs to its manufacturing base, both in raw materials and energy costs.
I always like to look at Silver as ot is a hybrid of precious metal and industrial raw material. But either way, with the dollar on the cheap side, and the anticipation of slower, less aggressive interest rate hikes, the dollar could help China re-stablize its domestic economy.
That should lift RE prices and our selling prices of finished oxides.
