I believe I am being baited across multiple threads and on several occasions my username has been posted into discussions/threads I haven't participated in, along with misleading statements and statements made out of context. I regard this as grubby behaviour and notice it is also being directed at a number of other users too.
When starved of attention, this is a trolling tactic that is used in the hope of getting a reaction from the target.
Despite reporting these posts, the moderation team of HotCopper won't action or remove them.
In return, my response is to log out and no longer create content on the forum that generates views, clicks and advertising revenue for HotCopper.
There's been an incredible negativity around the LYC sub-forum recently. I've reflected on how I spend my time, and concluded that I don't think I benefit in any way by continually reading it. I intend to be far more selective in where I direct my attention and how I spend my spare time.
