(Imagine if you didn't believe in charts, then you opened a chart thread and viewed them and complained to others that you don't like them. It's a strange world!)

LYC 12M Weekly chart
Long red bar in the most recent week, but not on big volume.
Gentle continued downtrend with SP below the 10EMA(weekly) and 40EMA (weekly)
Also notice the SP is approaching the 52 week low made back in April

If you flick to the Daily chart most of this week's volume was made in the Friday session with about 6M shares traded, representing ~1/3 of the week's trades.



Also to answer my own question about Range.

LYC 3M Daily chart, with Average True Range(10) below.
The ATR is measured as a percentage of the share price. So if the range stay constant over the period as the SP fell it would appear to increase. I also see that the ATR(10) is pretty steady over the past 3 months averaging 0.2.
So I think it's good to measure it as a percentage. I will need to think about what the ATR represents and how I might infer market movement/sentiment with it.

(Yellow over blue) still says this is not a buy. That said I am getting tempted to re-add here.
