And yes - wait until AI is rampant and actually running the bots, no humans involved at all. I suspect that isn't as far away as some might like to think...

The tax needs to be set low enough to have minimal impact on low numbers of trades but have an impact on high numbers. Most orders can be filled in les than ten transactions which is nohing compared to the hundreds and thousands done by algorithms and potentially AI.
