The west seems to be putting on the full court press for dominance in rare earth. MP just announced they no longer send material to China for processing and have established a full supply chain - mine to magnet - in the domestic US. This explains a lot in terms of recent run up in stock price which I hold a few shares after selling down exactly for that reason!
