Thanks for posting. I haven't read the article, however Amanda referenced the consolidation in the Chinese rare earth companies at the AGM and she attributes it to the shortage of rare earths. I don't recall her exact words, however she believes China's intent is to consolidate and purchase rare earth concentrate from global sources (cheaply of course). The current high prices reflect the shortage of oxides amid high demand. For those interested, you can access the AGM webcast. Aren't we shareholders fortunate Lynas is an oxide manufacturer?!
