Back in 2019 Wesfarmers may a bid to buy Lynas, could it happen again?
"While Banyantree Investment Group Director Zach Riaz, who covers Wesfarmers, was surprised by the conglomerate's bid for Lynas, he said the offer was a "massive validation" for the strategy of non-Chinese rare earth producers — not only Lynas but also Northern Minerals — and showed that Wesfarmers clearly had a long-term view on the electric vehicle market."
