Actually TA works almost all the time when properly applied. It is not a long range forecast. At most one some times two weeks, It cannot account for future news be it good or bad. To say you saw the impact of Q4 release from TA is a little far fetched. As TA is saying right now the trend is up. From my analysis on 2020 AR 2021 SAR and 2021 Q3 and Q4, I think AR will be great. Stock should continue upwards. If AL talks about any bad news with moderate to high impact then at these prices The stock will fall fast. TA cannot predict either of those. I wish TA could predict that but it can not. if I detect something that makes me want to buy or sell a stock I often use TA for timing. If i suspect or detect something that says there may be a big event, I take action right away. Regardless of what TA says.

If future news is easy to read then TA can show you if lots of people are becoming aware of it.
