Look, I'm not bleating. OK, just a little. I welcomed that Bill Parfett introduced himself on the phone from Detroit when addressing the AGM in Melbourne.
I liked what he had to say. He was warm and positive.
Mind you, I would have preferred that BP be physically in Melbourne - after all, he knew he would be replacing Steve Morris as chairman straight after the meeting.
He could have thanked Morris and Lucia Cade face-to-face.
And while he introduced himself, fact is there were only 13 shareholders at the meeting and a few more on the conference line.
More than 900 holders were no-shows. They didn't hear the great man. Of course, that was their call.
But I probably speak for more than a few when I maintain that PuriflOH holders are members of a family rather than mere minnows or mushrooms.
Bill Parfet's a family man. There's his own family of six children, the Stryker Corp family, the Kalamazoo family and the wider Michigan family.
In a sense, BP's role is to now respectfully lead the PO3 family. I just think members would welcome a brief, personal update.
