While Chairman Bill Parfet salutes the need to furnish relevant news, he remains reluctant to do so.

His first PuriflOH Half Yearly brims with news. Not.

However - as is often the case with PO3 - brief, obtuse comment invites de-coding.

Consider this from today's posting (my emphases):  "The air purification product development program has delivered more advanced product designs and fabricated prototypes.

"These operating prototypes, with their corresponding Bill of Materials, have assisted in ongoing discussions with OEMs and reflect the progress made in improving the performance of the unit to commercial standards."

PO3 has not publicly used the BOM term before.  What does it mean?

Wikipedia says this: "A bill of materials or product structure is a list of the raw materials, sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies, sub-components, parts, and the quantities of each needed to manufacture an end product.

"BOM may be used for communication between manufacturing partners or confined to a single manufacturing plant."

Is the BOM reference newsworthy?  My take is Yes.  Newsworthy, relevant and possibly very material.
