Heading the turnover value table was an executive director of Brockman Resources, an iron ore project owner in the Pilbara.
The stock has enjoyed a terrific run; since 2008 it has appreciated from 50 or thereabouts to current levels of $4-plus.
Colin Paterson, a geologist, peeled off a modicum of stock, raising $4 million from the sale of shares at $4 apiece.
He's still got plenty left - 2.5 million shares and some options, nicely in the money.
He was joined on the sellers list by David Nixon, a non-executive director of Brockman.
Nixon had the considerable pleasure of exercising 100,000 options at $1.30 and then flogging the shares at $3.97 a share. Lovely."
