Manipulated is actually the wrong word as I certainly didn't get any benefits out of it.

I had toped up a few GUL's as I used to like to do at anything below 2.3c. The GUL sell side was pretty thin as I remember and I had about 300 shares that didn't get filled on my order. Next seller was at 4c so at the end of the day I thought it would close out my order and spend the $12 required to do so.


The funny thing was that there are some fools in the market who act on such things. I saw that there were a few wood ducks who started buying small amounts at 3.9c. When the shares returned to normal they would be kicking themselves at a 40% loss in a week or so.

I certainly never had any intent to influence someone to purchase shares based that trade. I never sold any off. I've just kept accumulating because the reality is that the GUL shares are worth 5 - 6 c now.
