I would say the reason WPL went up would be they are looking at smaller and less expensive options i suppose.
Which means in anyones thoughts they will be spending a lot less money if their developement plans in future are smaller.
Also i would have thought any major decision like this would affect all participants prospecting in that area as the options are reduced.
Costs just like in the mining industry affect projects.
