Linc can offer to buy back the notes, which are fixed at an exchange rate of US$1.0463
per A$1.00, from April 2015.
The part that has caught me off guard is the convert anytime, thought it was going to convert 2018 with LNC having 3 years to pay it out from 2015.
If RA or similar wants a low risk vehicle to acquire over 10% of the company at their option then this is it.
