Of course, sunscreen is highly seasonal and skincare is constant. Skincare got a massive boost in interest during coronavirus lockdowns, while sunscreen dipped as people stayed inside. Now it seems interest in sunscreen has recovered to last year's levels. Given the growing emphasis on daily SPF in skincare routines, maybe this burst of skincare research activity leads to a surprise boost in sunscreen sales going forward.
