Charts are important, they allow FA to play out. People buy and sell based on FA and the chart provides a pretty good sentiment on public opinion. Announcements based on FA, are easily manipulated by companies to sugar coat things, bend the truth, mislead people etc.....Very hard to know what is factual and what isn't, excluding reporting periods of course.
I'm the first to admit I struggle to read announcements. Sometimes they read so well and you expect the SP to fly, and the opposite happens and vice versa. So I stick with TA mainly and just let price action doing the talking....I just follow the trend. Go long when it goes up, go short when it goes down (can't short TTT though, I wouldn't anyway).
I do respect you enthusiasm for the company Bakerman and I'll be jumping the fence and joining you in the paddock of green pastures, when the time is right. I'm still happy to sit on the sidelines and protect my capital for now.
