Doesn't matter what its associated with, people will look at that pretty little pattern and buy... thus pushing the price up. People will also buy on fundamental speculation which is another reason why the price will rise. These things together create a good opportunity to go long.

If you don't use technical trading that's fine but please learn a bit about it before you mock it. Its about probability, no one says its 100% accurate.
