RBA would have rather raise rates for the housing market which had been overreaching in some markets, and lower them for the business market, however it has only the one rate mechanism. There was a time MANY years ago when the govt for a time maintained two different rates for housing and non housing. I was much younger then.
At the moment slowing economies may do the RBAs work for them and the housing market might slow of its own accord.
