Taking your thought that "the World Number 2 in ASIC design and production .... simply wouldn't lock onto a loser" one step further would you agree that what they have looked at to come to their conclusion that AKIDA was able to be produced would have been the intellectual property.

If so would it not be reasonable to assume that if AKIDA can be built as Socionext appears to have confirmed then Socionext is also by implication confirming that it did not find any flaw in the intellectual property.

If this is so then the previous statements by the company that the release of the intellectual property for license has the potential to accelerate time to market and thus revenue well ahead of the release of AKIDA as a chip is a reasonable statement assuming that Socionext has not made a mistake in assessing the intellectual property.
