    kal47,
The SFP doesn't use the technology being used in the MFP and LFP. The small format printer is still slow.......just like all the competitors.
It's attractiveness is it's price. The cheapest competitors start at six figures. No 3D printer in the world is available that can print metal in three modes (SLS, SLM and DED) ......until A3D's SFP! It allows flexibility in alloying and pseudo-alloys. This printer at $50,000 is a no-brainer in my opinion for a university as a research tool. It will also be attractive for small businesses who cannot afford a six figure outlay on a 3D printer.
Have a read of the presentation announced last week. You sound pretty cluey on the 3D space. Once you understand exactly what A3D is doing, I think the penny will drop and better still you won't have to pay $5. I personally don't believe anyone will be able to buy this stock for $5 if the LFP is proven. As usual, everyone needs to do their own research and decide for themselves.
