WRONG
we have to rethink the entire social idea of work, income, rewards etc
It is the completely wrong track to go on to think about the next ‘job’
so dumb is it to go down that track that the author suggests that if a new suitable job can’t be found then we create one

if that’s not a headsup that it’s the wrong track - then I don’t know how to convince people
We have to begin to get our heads around that there will be NO jobs in future at all
even if it takes 200 more years - that’s the shape of the future
that’s what we need to be steering towards
not making up fake jobs
The stupidity of that is breathtaking

Many people talk about a universal basic income. But it's a lot more complicated than that. What will these people be doing all day every day. There will be no more peak hour. The roads will be quiet.
Idle hands and all that.
