Its a good business model, come up with game changing tech, make a couple of prototypes, sell the licensing, and an ongoing DST blackbox, done. Keep it in Australia a couple of years, grow some revenue thru it, then maybe think of expanding the manufacturing of the blackbox overseas to say China. I'll highly suggest they should keep everything in house for now, as they are at a very embryonic stage now. AKA, industrial espionage.

I see no reason to outsource any high tech electronic manufacturing to China. To many IP risks.

Some perfectly good Australian companies with Australian located manufacturing facilities.

The first option for any Australian company should be to try and source parts and suppliers in Australia.
