Note, the justification to make an iPhone in China is completely different to why you would make DST modules in China. Why?
The volumes.
In total Apple have sold 1 Billion iPhones since they were released 10 years ago.
FBR will be extremely lucky to sell 1,000,000 DST modules over the next 10 years.
My pick, assuming commercial success, the number would be closer 100k over 10 years.
