As far as I understand, the patents are owned by SYN now as they own 100% of what was Panorama Labs, hence the patents and everything else in regards to the technology. As I understand it, Photonica is a spin off from a few ex directors I think? and the initial developer from Panorama Labs, which was spun out prior to the 100% buy out of Panorama Labs, I think in an attempt to get away from the controlled interest by SYN. Now where Photonica sit in regards to patents and legal issues in regards to this technology will be interesting. Anyone with some solid info on this out there?
