8.7 quake west of Indonesia,biggest of its kind ever,quadruple fault rupture such a quake has never been seen before,fault was lateral tear, not up and down and occurred no where near a known boundry,it is suspected the plate is fragmenting,this in the heart of the Indo Australian plate. Interesting,some may recall me talking of this some months ago and the possible changes.
As I have always said expect nature to change all the time ,it IS change,nothing is settled.
