From what I've read you're right. He doesn't sugarcoat things too much.
But we have or are about to experience:

• oil shortages
• other commodity shortages
• interest rate increases
• labour shortage
• supply chain disruption

which is likely to present a hit to many companies and the general public in varying ways and varying degrees so it is a bit scary and involves quite a bit of re-work on portfolios I reckon.

We may ride through this relatively unscathed since Governments seem to want to keep us happy with very little apparent thought about longer term impacts. As I heard someone comment yesterday with respect to the budget, "If you can breathe and you can vote, there's some money there for you".

It's not dull, this investing thing.
