FOUR teenage boys have been arrested over a spate of robberies in the western suburbs on Monday where they were spotted armed with axes.

FOUR teenage boys have been arrested over a spate of robberies in the western suburbs where the boys were spotted armed with axes.
Police allege two males stole alcohol from a Findon bottle shop about 5.40pm in the first of the Monday’s offences.
At 9.15pm, a man was punched in the face and had money stolen by a group of males in a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on Days Rd in Ferryden Park.
Then, about 35 minutes later, another man was threatened by three males armed with axes on Second Ave, Woodville Gardens.
He was not physically injured and the suspects left empty-handed.
At 10.10pm, a member of the public seeing a group of people wearing masks and carrying axes on Mallan St, Findon.
Police swooped in and stopped a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on Grange Rd, Findon, arresting the four occupants.
A Croydon Park boy, 17, a Mansfield Park boy, 16, and a Woodville Gardens boy, 17, were charged with robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, theft and carry offensive weapon.
A Royal Park boy, 17, was charged with carry offensive weapon.
All four were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court next month.
