Spoke to my 15y/o son the other day, and asked him a question about whether or not he and his friends are still wearing Billabong clothing and the like. His reply was totally unexpected where he quietly mumbled, "we no longer wear branded clothing: we now wear clothing that have no brands, no logos".
Never in my years have I ever seen that occur. Are they one step ahead of us? Are they being perceptive to the subliminal messages coming from every direction: the news, the media, and the large corporations bullying small-time businesses and individuals, a la the 2012 Olympics?
If that's their little protest, then I'm 100% behind them.
Er', now where did I put my Rolex?
