Teens invoved in 1000's of crimes in every state, page-12

We have to question the WHY is it happening and why it is so prevalent now. As you correctly point out teen crime is raging in Australia, the justice system is pathetic, and our governments in most states are sadly lacking the gumption to confront the situation, eg in Victoria we have a labor government that has driven the state to it;s knees and the minister waffles on that the teen situation is not really that bad! We have no pride in our leaders there is no leadership.
Kids need discipline they need love, they need a future to look forward to. Punishment is necessary but for some teens i would suggest that part of their sentence be that they be put to work maybe learning a trade to build homes, all under necessary supervision instead of just being locked up in a prison punishment. They have to be punished but maybe part of the punishment is a penalty to pay back to society for the crimes they have committed.
