Nor has it been established that the largest of Zheng's ships was built, or it's just hearsay, a legend: Quote:
''According to legend, the largest treasure ships could have been a whopping 137 metres (450 feet) long, with nine masts and four decks… However, this will never be known for sure, because the Chinese emperor got tired of Zheng He’s naval adventures and had the ships decommissioned. They rotted away in Chinese harbours, and so were lost to history.''
