That assumes that the value of a day is zero. Many people would disagree. It has been argued that reality of death drives achievement and adds spice to life, that had men like Socrates, Plato, Archimedes been immortal they would not be driven to achieve in the short time they had. That immortality, an eternity of time, nothing new, an endless repetition of themes, can only bring forth ennui and despair, a desire for death.
