    Flintstones? Why do you misrepresent what is being said? It's like you don't actually read the comments or articles.

    This is what the article said about early trade and means of exchange, which bears no resemblance to your objections;

    "Scientists have tracked exchange and trade through the archaeological record, starting in Upper Paleolithic when groups of hunters traded for the best flint weapons and other tools. First, people bartered, making direct deals between two parties of desirable objects."

    Now how do you get from that to 'free market money and capitalism?"
