The CCP preaches that Tibet has always been part of China, and was peacefully liberated in 1952. Both those things can’t be true. Just like Taiwan has always been part of China for thousands of years, yet China became a country in 1951. By the same logic, Japan could lay claim to the entire north east of China. But they don’t. Possible out of respect, possibly because it’s an absolute shithole that no one would want.
