That immortality, an eternity of time, nothing new, an endless repetition of themes, can only bring forth ennui and despair, a desire for death. ----------------
To assume immortality and an eternity of time leads to nothing new to be discovered is assuming God has limits. The Scriptures in fact speak of an eternity of learning that is endless.
(Romans 11:33) O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments are and beyond tracing out his ways are!
I just finished an enjoyable meal without any thoughts of despair because of knowing I will have eat again and again.
(Proverbs 15:15) All the days of the afflicted one are bad, But the one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast.
