Firstly heaven is not a place, it is a state of being.
As for God wanting "yes men", ever human must strive to know truth via their own volition. You can only do that if you question everything. Justice depends on the individual having his own knowlege gleaned from an openminded questioning attitude to life.
Those who follow a religious script blindly, or are subject to the dictates of religious authority without question or being able to question that authority are of little use to themselves or humanity.
