if the entire industry globally keep paying bonuses to its employees and executives you have to do the same otherwise no ona is going to work for you.
Is that how Townsend justifies his extraordinary salary? There are MD/CEOs of much larger oil producers (running profitable companies with appreciating share prices) who make less than RT does. How do you reconcile that?
Or maybe you really don't care. Just as long as you can earn your handful of loot you're probably happy for him to take as much as he wants!
