the Arrowsmith plant cost about that. Obviously its worth less now but if Xanadu or any other field of comparable or bigger than Cliff Head is found, the owners will have a choice, either somehow raise similar amounts to build a processing plant or just pay us US$25 a barrel.
I wonder which option will prevail??
Also, a question for the experts, what would be the furthest most distance a new field could be before putting a pipeline and pumping becomes unviable?? Pumper, is this your domain??
