Just want to go on record to say that I share the concerns outlined by Red and Asaliah and totally agree with the major concern being the choice between the Consortium and PT Enso Asia, which, to me "could" represent a very serious mistake. Management, surely owes shareholders more information about that crowd!!!! IMO, it's NOT all about the cash, but, is THAT the main driver behind management's choice? It is only "superior" IF both bidders can give solid evidence of their plans and prospect of delivering a "superior" outcome. No one can honestly say that they can make that valued judgement on what information has been provided!!
Oily re your post, as asked by Red, we at least know who the consortium deal comprises and I also ask, who the hell are PT Enso Asia, you can't even get anything on their website (under refurnishment (can't even spell properly, no such word!!!!) And just having an "Indonesian" company to operate this lease provides no guarantees, in fact, worries the hell out of me.
All questions, apart from those conspiratorial ones which we can do without, are totally legitimate, but, who can imagine the PTEA Resolution being voted down failing a last minute "superior" offer??
Looks like we will just have to take this new management on trust, BUT, that does not stop shareholders continually asking these questions and I strongly recommend all doing so, directly to them, to at least just let them know that there are others with hard cash invested in this company.
